Every Sunday morning at 8 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 80’s!  This Sunday Casey Kasem features the top songs from July 23rd, 1988, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from The Moody Blues with “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere”.

The English group first hit the charts in 1964 and were best known for their 1972 classic “Nights in White Satin”.   The Moody Blues had a comeback of sorts in the 80’s with hits like “Gemini Dream”, “The Voice”, and “Your Wildest Dreams”.   Inspired by that the song, the group released “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere”, a song that went to #30 and become their last top 40 record.

From 1988 it’s the Moody Blues with “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere” it’s today’s Forgotten 45.
