Welcome to the first weekend of Summer! Every Saturday night from 9 to midnight, we let Nina Blackwood take over for 3 hours of Absolutely 80’s tunes. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from ABC with “How To Be a Millionaire”.
The group delivered 5 top 40 hits between 1982 and 1987, the biggest being their top 5 song “When Smokey Sings”. “How To Be a Millionaire” was the debut single from their album “How to be a Zillionaire” released in November of ’84, the song was a flop in England, but it went to #20 in the U.S.
The video is a cartoon, which I didn’t remember. It’s ABC with “How To Be a Millionaire” today’s Forgotten 45.
