For the Monday Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to June 9th, 1984 for Rod Stewart with “Infatuation”.
From his 13th album “Camouflage” that was released in June of ’84, “Infatuation” was the first single from the album and it became the 15th of his 31 Top 40 hits. The song the late Jeff Beck on guitar and he also makes an appearance in the video.
Rod has recently been in the news because of the cancellation of 6 concerts due to the flu. He’s hoping to recover in time to perform at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England next month.
