This Sunday morning at 8 105.7 KOKZ brings you another classic American Top 40 show from the 80’s! Casey Kasem takes us back to June 15th, 1985 it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Paul Young with “Everytime You Go Away”.
The song was written by Daryl Hall and recorded by Hall & Oates but was never released as a single. This provided Paul Young the opportunity to record what became his biggest hit as “Everytime You Go Away” went all the way to #1!
He’s currently out on tour and will be a part of the I Want My 80’s show at Meskwaki on June 14th along with Rick Springfield, Wang Chung, and John Waite. Details on the show are on this very website!
