“Private Dancer” was Tina’s 5th album, but it was the one that revitalized her career. The album stayed in the top 10 for 39 weeks in 1984 and 85, sold over 5 million copies, and won 4 Grammy Awards.  And it featured hits like “What’s Love Got to Do With It”, “Private Dancer”, and “Better Be Good to Me”, a song that went to #5 on the charts.

The video features Tina in concert and features the Fixx lead singer Cy Curnin who also played on the track.  Celebrating the 41st anniversary of “Private Dancer” it’s Tina Turner with “Better Be Good to Me” today’s Forgotten 45.
