Rick had hid first top 40 hit in 1971, but it wasn’t until a decade later that his music career really took off with his #1 smash “Jessie’s Girl”, the first of his 16 hits in the 80’s. “Love Somebody” was the first single from his album “Hard to Hold” which was a soundtrack for the movie of the same name. The song was a top 5 hit for Rick in ’84.
