Their “Band on the Run” album is celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary, and to this date, it remains McCartney’s most popular album and most celebrated post-Beatles work. With hits like “Jet”, and the title track, the album went on to sell over 6 million copies worldwide.
“Helen Wheels” wasn’t originally included on the album, but at the request of the record label, they added to the American version of the LP and the song went on to be a top 10 hit.
