The song was the debut solo hit for Adam and it appeared on his “Friend or Foe” album. His group Adam & the Ants first found airplay in the states with “Antmusic” in 1980 and “Goody Two Shoes” became his biggest hit in the U.S. reaching #12 and as the #51 most popular song of 1983.
Born Stuart Goddard in London, Adam went on to find some success acting in many films & tv shows, and of course delivered more hit songs in England.
