In the land before MTV made everyone video stars, Christopher Cross and his debut album owned the charts in 1980. Released in December of 1979, the project won 5 Grammy Awards including Album of the Year and Christopher was named the Best New Artist. Delivering hits like “Ride Like the Wind”, and “Sailing”, “Never Be the Same” was the third hit from the album and reached #15 on the charts.
