Every Sunday morning from 8 to noon, 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 80’s!  This weekend Casey features the top songs from December 1st, 1984, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Steve Perry with “Foolish Heart”.

Steve of course was the legendary lead singer of Journey in the 70’s, 80’s, and even for a few years in the 90’s.  In 1984 following the band’s Frontier tour, Steve released his first solo album called “Street Talk” and the album was a success, selling over 2 million copies and delivering the top 5 smash “Oh Sherrie” written for his then girlfriend.

“Foolish Heart” peaked at #18 and after that Steve Perry as a solo singer only had one more top 40 hit.  Earlier this month he released his first Christmas album called “The Season”.  Check out Steve Perry from 1984 with “Foolish Heart” today’s Forgotten 45.
