This Saturday morning at 9 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 70’s. This weekend Casey features the top songs from November 12th, 1977, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from the Babys with “Isn’t It Time”.
The British band featuring John Waite on vocals was formed in the 70’s and they chose the name The Babys because it would “piss mindless critics off”! “Isn’t It Time” was the groups first of 3 top 40 hits along with “Every Time I Think of You” and “Back on My Feet Again”.
The band went through various members, including Journey’s Jonathan Cain before finally breaking up. John Waite recorded his biggest hit, the #1 song “Missing You” in 1984 and would reunite with Cain and others for music with Bad English in the late 80’s.
