It’s Friday, I’m a little loopy, so lets get a little nuts with today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45!  It’s a song you can hear again Sunday afternoon from 4 to 8 on Retro Pop Reunion from Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch with “Good Vibrations”!

Long before he became one of Hollywood’s leading men starring in movies like “Boogie Nights”, “Ted”, “The Departed”, and the Transformer movies, Mark Wahlberg was a street thug as a kid in Boston, getting in trouble with the law on a few occasions.  His brother Donnie was part of the New Kids on the Block and he produced the song “Good Vibrations” which was a #1 hit in the US, Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Marky Mark is boxing in the video, he received tips from Micky Ward, who Mark played in the movie “The Fighter” in 2010.

Take a trip back to ’91 and reminisce or cringe at Marky Mark with “Good Vibrations” today’s Forgotten 45.
