The move worked, the album sold over 6 million copies and became the band’s first ever #1 album. “5150” delivered 4 hit singles, “Why Can’t This Be Love”, “Dreams”, “Best of Both Worlds”, and “Love Walks In” was a #4 Rock hit and reached #22 on the pop chart.
