The temperature might be ridiculous, but here at KOKZ we are thinking “Cool” thoughts this week on the Forgotten 45 at 3:45. Today’s choice is from Boston with “Cool The Engines”.
The song was originally written and recorded in 1981 and ’82 despite appearing on their 1986 album “Third Stage”. The album took over 6 years to record and includes hits like “Amanda”, “We’re Ready”, and “Can’tcha Say”. “Cool the Engines” wasn’t a top 40 hit per se, but it was a top 5 rock hit.
