The Aces formed in Memphis in 1972 and the country-rock band recorded over 18 albums over 30 years but only delivered one top 40 hit, “Third Rate Romance”. The song was a country and pop hit hitting #11 on the country chart and peaking at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100.
