Today we celebrate the 64th birthday of Richie Sambora the long time guitarist of Bon Jovi! For today’s Forgotten 45, we go back to 1994 for their last top 5 hit, “Always”.
Formed in New Jersey in 1983, Bon Jovi really blew up big worldwide with their classic “Slippery When Wet” album and became one of the biggest rock bands of all time selling over 120 million records and playing over 2,700 concerts. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
“Always” was a power ballad that appeared on their second greatest hits album “Cross Road” and the song went to #4 on the charts, becoming the 11th and final top 10 hit for the band.
