It’s time for the Friday Forgotten 45 at 3:45 with a song that you can hear again Saturday night from 9 to midnight on Absolutely 80’s with Nina Blackwood. Today we go back to 1983 for “Twist of Fate” from Olivia Newton-John.
The song was the 15th and final top 10 hit for ONJ, reaching #5 in 1983, it was recorded for the movie “Two of a Kind”. In her legendary career she won 4 Grammy Awards, recorded five #1 records and of course starred in movies like “Grease” and “Xanadu”.
Originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, she sadly lost her battle last summer, passing away at the age of 73.
