105.7 KOKZ along with the music world mourns the loss of the great Tina Turner at the age of 83. Tributes from all over the world have been pouring in for the legendary performer. For today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to 1985 for Tina with “One of the Living”.
It was one of the two songs she recorded for Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, the other being “We Don’t Need Another Hero”. “One of the Living” reached #15 on the pop charts and in 1986 won a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Performance.
