Welcome to the Monday edition of the Forgotten 45 at 3:45. For today’s tune we go back 45 years to 1978 when this song was climbing the charts, it’s Sweet with “Love Is Like Oxygen”.
The song was the last top 40 hit for the British band reaching #8 on the charts. “Oxygen” was a hit on their “Level Headed” album which was a departure from the usual Sweet sound as they experimented with rock and orchestral sounds like ELO and delivered more of a pop sound.
