Lou Gramm the legendary former lead singer of Foreigner is celebrating his 73rd birthday today, so for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, it’s the last top 40 hit for the band “I Don’t Want To Live Without You”.

All told Foreigner charted 16 top 40 hits from 1977 to 1988 and sold over 80 million records world-wide.  “I Don’t Want to Live Without You” was their final top 40 hit released in March of 1988, you’ll find it on their “Agent Provocateur” album.

Of course Lou also had some solo success with “Midnight Blue” and “Just Between You and Me”.  He left Foreigner for good in 2003 and the band continues on with Mick Jones as the only original member, they will be in Coralville in concert this October.

Happy Birthday Lou, here’s the video for “I Don’t Want to Live Without You” today’s Forgotten 45.
