This Saturday morning at 9 105.7 KOKZ brings you classic American Top 40 from April 17th, 1976. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Styx with “Lorelei”.
“Lorelei” is featured on Styx 1975 album “Equinox” which was the band’s 5th album and the song became only the 2nd top 40 hit for Styx, the first being “Lady”. The song reached #27 on the charts, but was a huge hit in their hometown of Chicago, and received a ton of airplay on WLS, a station I think we all listened to in the Midwest back in the day.
