INXS – Beautiful Girl
INXS had a great streak of hits in the 80s and into the 90s.
In 1992, they released their eighth studio album, ‘Welcome To Wherever You Are’ and released five singles from it, one only in the U.K. and their home country/continent, Australia.
The fifth and final single didn’t break the Top 40 in the states, but was still played on Top 40 radio waves all over. “Beautiful Girl”
Keyboardist and one of the Farris brothers, Andrew Farris wrote this after the birth of his daughter. It peaked at #46 on the Hot 100 but made it all the way to #24 on Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 chart.
