P.M. Dawn – Looking Through Patient Eyes

I’ve never been into much rap other than the early stuff and the 80s and early 90s Top 40 stuff. When I first heard P.M. Dawn though, I became a fan.
Such smooth, sultry style rap with meanigful lyrics and bordering on jazz with an R&B edge… I really dig their stuff!
In 1993, after the song, “I’d Die Without You” was featured in the Eddie Murphy movie, Boomerang, it peaked in the Top 10 at #3! Seems I wasn’t the only one who dug the sound.
The follow-up to it, “Looking Through Patient Eyes” hit the Hot 100 pretty high and went Top 10 as well, stopping at #6. Both songs are found on the incredible album, ‘The Bliss Album…? (Vibrations of Love and Anger and the Ponderance of Life and Existence)’.
