For the Friday Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we check out the charts on August 7th, 1982, it’s where I found today’s tune from Crosby, Stills, & Nash with “Wasted On The Way”.
The trio of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash released their album “Daylight Again” in June of ’82 and it was their first to be released during the video music era so they did do a video for “Southern Cross” which was the second single from the album. “Wasted On The Way” was written by Nash about all the time spent squabbling with each other and not focusing on their music. The song became their first top 10 hit in 5 years reaching #9 on the charts. It also ended up being their last top ten song.
Despite all the trials and tribulations, they had incredible harmonies. It’s Crosby, Stills, & Nash with “Wasted On The Way” with today’s Forgotten 45.
