Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is a song you can hear again Sunday morning between 8 and noon on American Top 40 the 80’s from July 12th, 1986. From The Moody Blues it’s “Your Wildest Dreams”.
The British band was formed in 1964, that’s when they scored their first top 40 hit in America with “Go Now” and are best known for their biggest hit “Nights in White Satin” which reached #2 in 1972. The band had an 80’s resurgence of popularity with songs like “Gemini Dream” and “The Voice” in 1981. In ’86 they released their album “The Other Side of Life” which delivered “Your Wildest Dreams”, a song that ended up being their 2nd biggest hit song reaching #9.
