The band out of San Francisco formed in 1973 and over the next decade hit the Top 40 charts 5 times with tunes like “Love Will Find a Way” and “Cool Love”. But “Whatcha Gonna Do” was the group’s first big hit, from their album “A Place in the Sun” the song went to #6 in the summer of ’77 and went on to become the 16th biggest song of that year.
