Al was born in Milwaukee and actually earned a degree from the University of Iowa in Vocational Rehabilitation in 1964. He found his biggest chart success in the 80’s with hits like “We’re in This Love Together” and the theme from the TV show “Moonlighting” starring Cybil Shepard and Bruce Willis. In 1983 his album “Jarreau” was released and “Mornin” went to #21 on the charts.
