105.7 KOKZ is your home for classic American Top 40 shows every weekend!  This Sunday morning at 8 Casey Kasem takes us back to October 25th, 1980, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Boz Scaggs with “Look What You’ve Done to Me”.

From the triple-platinum soundtrack to the movie Urban Cowboy starring John Travolta and Debra Winger, the album featured several monster hits including “Looking For Love” by Johnny Lee, “Stand By Me” by Mickey Gilley, and “Love the World Away” by Kenny Rogers.

“Look What You’ve Done to Me” was written by Boz and David Foster, who played keyboards on the song and included backing vocals from the Eagles and help from members of Toto.  The song went to #13 on the charts becoming the 6th of Boz Scaggs 8 Top 40 hits.

With scenes from the movie it’s Boz with “Look What You’ve Done to Me” today’s Forgotten 45 sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store.  You’ll find them at honeycreekfurniture.com.
