This Sunday morning at 8 on American Top 40 the 80’s, Casey Kasem features the top songs from May 29th, 1982.  It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Loverboy with “When It’s Over”.

The Canadian band first hit the charts in 1980 with “Turn Me Loose” and “The Kid is Hot Tonite” from the debut album.  In October of ’81 they released “Get Lucky”, the album cover with the red leather pants and fingers crossed behind his back!  The album sold over 4 million copies and featured “Working for the Weekend” and “When It’s Over” a song that went to #26 on the charts in June of ’82.

The band still tours and will be back on the road starting in late June.  It’s Loverboy with “When It’s Over” it’s today’s Forgotten 45.
