Bursting on to the music scene in 1987 as the young age of only 21, Rick Astley’s debut album “Whenever You Need Somebody” sold 15 million copies and delivered two #1 songs, “Never Gonna Give You Up” hit #1 in 25 different countries and the follow-up “Together Forever” went to the top of the charts as well.
While more famous now for “Rick-Rolling”, in the period from 1987 to 1988, Rick Astley outsold every other artist in the world! With his booming voice and Howdy Doody looks, today’s Forgotten 45 is from Rick with “Together Forever”!
