Welcome to the first Forgotten 45 of February!  Today’s choice was on the charts this week in 1985, 40 years ago from John Parr it’s “Naughty Naughty”.

The English singer is best known for his second hit, the #1 smash “St. Elmo’s Fire”, but his first and other hit was “Naughty Naughty” which appears on his self-titled debut album released in November of 1984.  The song went to #23 on the pop charts and was a #6 rock hit.

All told John Parr has written and performed ten motion picture theme songs, including ones for Three Men and a Baby and The Running Man.  His work for “St Elmo’s Fire” earned him a Grammy nomination in ’85.
