This Saturday morning on American Top 40 the 70’s we have a four hour show for you from February 3rd, 1979.  One of the songs you’ll hear on the countdown is today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Foreigner with “Blue Morning Blue Day”.

The song was the third hit single from their 7 times platinum album “Double Vision” including the title track and “Hot Blooded”.  “Blue Morning Blue Day” was written by Lou Gramm and Mick Jones and the tune continued the band’s hot streak as it reached #15 and became Foreigner’s 6th top 40 hit in two years.

Foreigner will be in concert August 11th at McGrath Amphitheatre and Mike Waters is giving you the chance to win free tickets to the show all week long on the Waters Wake-Up Call.
