This Sunday morning at 8 on classic American Top 40 the 80’s, Casey Kasem features the top songs from December 10th, 1983.  One of the songs you’ll hear on the show is today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from The Police with “Synchronicity II”.

The song appears on their award winning album “Synchronicity” which delivered classics like “Every Breath You Take”, ” Wrapped Around Your Finger”, and “King of Pain”.  “Synchronicity II” was the 4th and final hit from the album.  It was a song that People Weekly called “aggressive and steely”!

Written by Sting, the song which includes lines like “dark Scottish loch”, and “humiliating kick in the crotch”, is uniquely a Police song, a tune that peaked at #16 in December of ’83.
