105.7 KOKZ welcomes REO Speedwagon and Loverboy to the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids on Friday, November 8th! So for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, we put the spotlight on Loverboy with “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”.
The band from Calgary, Alberta have been mainstays on classic hits stations for decades thanks to hits like “Turn Me Loose” and “Working for the Weekend”. The band delivered 9 top 40 hits and the biggest one was “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”. The song went to #9 in ’85 from their album of the same name.
They are currently touring with Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony of Van Halen and will also be doing some shows with Foreigner before joining REO later this year.
