The Summer Olympic Games are underway in Paris and it’s hard to believe it’s already been 40 years since the Olympics were in Los Angeles back in 1984.  Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 was a song that was in the top ten that summer, from Rod Stewart with “Infatuation”.

The song was the first single from Rod’s 13th album “Camouflage” which also featured his hit “Some Guys Have All the Luck”. One of the best selling artists of all-time, Rod Stewart charted 32 top 40 hits in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, and “Infatuation” peaked at #6 in the summer of 1984.

You can catch Rod in concert in Las Vegas for 4 shows starting this Wednesday at Caesar’s Palace, in the meantime you can check out the video to Rod Stewart’s “Infatuation” today’s Forgotten 45!
