The former lead singer of The Raspberries, Eric went solo in 1975 with the #2 hit “All By Myself” and between ’75 and 1988 he recorded 7 top 40 hits. “Make Me Lose Control” was his final chart hit reaching #3 in 1988. The song was unique in that it didn’t appear on any of Eric’s studio albums, it did appear on his greatest hits album however.
The singer passed away earlier this year at the age of 74. Taking us back to the “sweet sounds” today’s Forgotten 45 is from Eric Carmen with “Make Me Lose Control”.
