By Jeff Winfield Jun 21, 2024 | 3:43 PM

105.7 KOKZ is your home for classic American Top 40 shows every weekend.  Tomorrow morning from 9 to noon Casey Kasem takes us back to June 28th, 1975, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Grand Funk with “Bad Time”.

The song written by Mark Farner appears on their 1974 album “All the Girls in the World Beware!!” and went on to become the 4th and final top 40 hit for the band, who at the time was going by the name Grand Funk.  Following this release, they went back to the name Grand Funk Railroad.

You remember classics like “We’re An American Band”, “The Loco-Motion”, and “Some Kind of Wonderful”.  “Bad Time” went to #4 on the charts in ’75.  You can see Grand Funk Railroad in concert at Meskwaki on July 27th, and keep listening because we will be giving you chances to win free tickets to the show.

Today’s Forgotten 45 from Grand Funk, it’s “Bad Time”.
