The band from Springfield, Missouri was a two-hit wonder. Their debut hit “If You Wanna Get to Heaven” went to #25 on the charts, but the band really is best known for “Jackie Blue”. The song was a #3 hit in the Spring of 1975 from their album “It’ll Shine When It Shines”.
The band knew that had something special, a commercial song that would “sound good on the car radio”. Well what do you know, it still sounds good in 2024 as well!
