This Sunday morning on classic American Top 40 the 80’s, Casey Kasem features the top songs from February 23rd, 1985! It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Julian Lennon with “Too Late For Goodbyes”.
Julian of course is the son of the Beatles John Lennon, and he looks and sounds like his dad. The song “Too Late For Goodbyes” appears on his debut album “Valotte” which was released in the Fall of 1984. The album was produced by Phil Ramone and the song was a top 10 hit in both England the U.S and it was Julian’s biggest chart hit.
I found a live performance of Julian & his band performing on Top of the Pops with “Too Late For Goodbyes” today’s Forgotten 45.
