This Sunday morning on American Top 40 the 80’s Casey Kasem features the top songs from February 19th, 1983, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Saga with “On the Loose”.

The band from the Toronto area originally named “Pockets” debuted in 1978 in Canada to some success at home and in Germany, but it was their 4th album “World’s Apart” that delivered their biggest and only hit in the States with “On the Loose”.  The song peaked at #26 on the chart, but not only did the song receive heavy MTV airplay, the song was certainly a hit here in Iowa.

Bringing back fond memories of stumbling around the University of Iowa back in the day, check out Saga with “On the Loose” today’s Forgotten 45!
