Dead Or Alive – Brand New Lover
British band Dead Or Alive’s biggest claim to fame here in the states was the Top 20 “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” from 1984. It was a huge hit on Top 40 radio, peaking at #11 in the U.S. and in heavy rotation on MTV.
The only notable single released from the band in the U.S. is “Brand New Lover”, released in 1986 on the album ‘Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know’.
It raced up the Hot 100 to peak at #15 due to MTV and Top 40 radio airplay.
