In honor of talking with the great Jon Anderson….
Yes – Rhythm Of Love
The ‘Big Generator’ album from Yes in 1987, expounded on the 80s synth-rock sound that got them the multiplatinum status for the 1983 release, ‘90125’.
This album was a little harder, musically, cleaner production, a very smooth and near perfect sounding album.
Three singles were released from it – “Love Will Find a Way”, “Rhythm of Love”, and “Final Eyes”.
The first did well and peaked at #30 on the Hot 100 and #1 on Mainstream Rock chart. “Final Eyes”, the last single did nothing and I don’t think got much, if any, airplay. Peaking at #40 on the Hot 100 and #2 on Mainstream Rock was “Rhythm of Love”, the opening song of the album.
