Tonight in Des Moines the “Freedom Tour” featuring Journey & Toto will take the stage at Wells Fargo Arena, so for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to 1981 for a song you’ll hear in concert tonight, Journey’s “Stone in Love”.
The song appears on their “Escape” album released in the Summer of ’81 the album featured 4 top 20 hits “Don’t Stop Believing”, “Still They Ride”, “Open Arms”, and “Who’s Crying Now”, and while “Stone in Love” didn’t appear on the pop charts, it did receive quite a bit of rock radio airplay.
