“Miracles” was the biggest chart hit for Jefferson Starship, reaching #3 on the charts in ’75. The song appeared on their “Red Octopus” album and was written by Marty Balin. He labored a long time on this particular song and when he presented the song to the rest of the band members, “Everybody went, ‘I don’t know about that. That’s pretty weird, man.’ I was really worried; nobody liked it. But I told myself, after about five days, ‘Maybe they’re wrong.’
