On March 1st, 1975 Earth, Wind, & Fire released their album “That’s The Way of the World”. It was their 6th album and sold over 3 million copies and also featured their first ever #1 song “Shining Star”, today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45!
Both the album and the song reached #1 on the pop and soul charts and Shining Star won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Group or Duo.
