The song reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in Fall of 1985. The song also reached number 4 in Canada. And in Europe, the song topped the charts in Italy, reached number 2 in Belgium, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and peaked at number 7 in the UK.
