Only one single was released on England Dan & John Ford Coley’s 1977 album, ‘Dowdy Ferry Road’. It was “It’s So Sad To Belong” and it was a moderate hit.
But the radio found this other track on the album and started playing it. It became popular and regularly requested. “Gone Too Far” became a surprise hit for everyone involved and certainly helped the album sell even better! It peaked at #23 on the Hot 100!
