The Time – Jerk Out
A song by Prince that was originally recorded in 1981 with Prince doing all of the performing of instruments, vocals and production. It has yet to hear the light of day.
It was brought back out and reworked for the band, Mazarati, who put the band together with his longtime bassist, Brown Mark. It was eventually left off of that release.
Then in 1989, it was reworked again and added to by The Time, and included on the ‘Pandemonium’ album. It was the lead single and became the band’s biggest hit single, peaking at #9 on the Hot 100 and #1 on the R&B chart.
