Starbuck – Moonlight Feels Right

Starbuck recorded a song that they were really prod of and in December 1975, deilivered 400 copies of it to radio stations all over. Only one station did, eventually, air the song but waited until spring of 1976, citing that it sounded like a “spring kind of song”. Turns out, they were right.
WERC in Birmingham, Alabama, started playing it and by April, it had become a local hit, then started getting airplay all over! Eventually, “Moonlight Feels Right” rose to the #3 on the Hot 100, speding five weeks on the chart!
