‘Scenes From the Southside’ was the 1988 follow-up album from Bruce Hornsby & The Range, after the mega-popular album, ‘The Way It Is’.
Following the slew of big hits coming from ‘The Way It Is’. Bruce and company release the first single, “The Valley Road”, in the spring of 1988. It climbed the Hot 100, eventually peaking at a very respectable #5 in July of that year.
